Job Description and Info:
$13-$15 per hour
Apply protective coverings, such as masking tape, to articles or areas that could be damaged or stained by work processes
Apply deck stain to specified areas
Perform general physical activities, such as climbing, lifting, walking, and handling of materials
Effectively communicate with managers
Clean work areas and equipment
Resume building traits of job
Communication
Client relations: Workers will be in close contact with clients while not having to cold call
Leadership
Applicants will work independently following training. This allows workers to further develop critical thinking and decision-making skills on-job.
Time Management
Teamwork
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license/reliable transportation to and from job sites
Deck staining experience preferred but not required if applicant is able and willing to learn

Those that are able to work the full season will be given a higher priority over other applicants. The season ends when it becomes too cold to stain, which is usually around late September/early October.
